Nene.org Launch Edition

This tee is brought to you in hopes of spreading awareness to Hawaii's only living native goose and a new project to involve the community to study this species. Nene.org was founded to increase participation in conservation through citizen science. We aggregate sightings of nene from Hawaiʻi from social media, community contributions, government partners, and dedicated field effort and provide that data to the community. We hope to provide meaningful life histories of individual nene to build stronger connections between the species and the general public. The data collected can also be used to further understand nēnē habitat usage, movements and population dynamics.

Proceeds from the sale of this tee with be used to fund our future predator monitoring and trapping efforts as well as our ongoing work to aggregate sightings.
